Plagiarism is rampant on the Internet quite simply because there is a way to make money without much work. This goes for using photos available for the taking on many photo stock sites. Even burglars have that mind set. These thieves that go into the homes, steal what does not belong to them and leave with someones possessions.  Computer plagiarism is literary fraud by cutting, pasting and putting the name of the crook on it instead of the rightful owner. Pictures are lifted pretty much as easily until the photographer notices their original snap shot being used without any permission granted. There should be a way to encourage people to do the right, moral, ethical and legal actions, however those ways have not been perfected so far.

The websites are encouraged by the search engines to cut down on illegal writers not submitting original content with what they are able to install. Some accounts are edited to some degree to cut down on plagiarism, photo theft or spinning, yet the fact remains those are ineffective too. Plagiarism detectors and checkers are readily available to Internet webmasters, yet even when notified by account holders of the illegal writing techniques some people chose, the accounts are still active. Photos are published on the Internet, but can go undetected as to the original ownership for varied amounts of time except by the person using them without legal right.

It is a sense of pride to take your own photos and use them on your Internet articles or publications. When networking on an account includes original photos fellow viewers of that material appreciate your photography abilities. Even when using anothers pictures, citing those sources still keep the composition original and add integrity to the author. Take a look at the several ways photos are labeled original.

Picture rules:

1. It is a courtesy and also eliminates computer indecency when stock photos are credited to the rightful owner.

2. Permission must be granted even from friends when pictures are used that were captured by someone else. The person will verbalize how they would like those photos to be creditied.

3. Original pictures are ones that the photographer can be seen in the mirror. No one owns the Ocean or a specific sky area, so originals could very easily be of the identical place or object yet be considered original.

4. The camera equipment and dated digital insignia actually can verify authenticity in the event of copyright issues going to court.

Yup it is very important to be careful about picture use. I think a lot of people think they can use anything, but this is not true at all.

When in doubt, get the owner's permission. I had two artist allow me to use their work in one of my articles in which I gave them credit for. Excellent tips Roberta. Stumbled, Tweeted

even if you cite sources you cannot use photos that have a copyright. You can use google but you can only use photos that are "for commercial use only"
